Brivo Group Maintenance is a new feature within the Brivo Control System. You will still need to create your Groups, Doors and their relationships through your Brivo panel, but previously our system would only allow to control one Group for access to your facility. This feature will now allow you to control multiple groups that are available for your members for access to your facility through our Club Advantage software. This is a brief overview of Brivo Group Maintenanceand what you will be looking for when navigating through this feature.

How to Access the Brivo Group Maintenance Feature

The Brivo Group Maintenance feature is located on the Operationspage of our Club Advantage software.

Once you’re on the Operationspage scroll down to where the Brivosection is located, and you will see the link for Groups.

Now that we have Brivo Group Maintenance open there are four sections we will be focusing on:

Available Groups, Group, Status and Default.

Available Group Section

Available Groups are the groups that have been created by you that are on your Brivo Panel.

You will need to place your Available Groups onto the Groups added to Club Advantage section for them to be able to be adjusted in Brivo Group Maintenance.

This can be done by selecting the Group you would like to appear on the Groups added to Club Advantage section. Once you select the Group please select the Add Group button and the Group will then appear on the Groups added to Club Advantagesection where they will be able to be adjusted in Brivo Group Maintenance.

Group Section

The Groupsection is where you will see the eligible groups for your members to join. The names should match what appears on your Brivo panel as well.

Status Section

Status is how a Group in will appear in Brivo Member Maintenance.

Having a Active Status will mean that the Group will be eligible for a member to join in Brivo Member Maintenance.

Having a Inactive Status means that the Group will NOT be eligible for a member to join and will NOT appear in Brivo Member Maintenance.

How you can adjust a Groups Status in Brivo Group Maintenance is by scrolling to the Group you would like to adjust. Selecting the drop down that appears in the Status section and selecting Active or Inactive. Once that has been down you will select the Update button on the right and the Status for the Group will be updated.

Default Section

Defaultis the group a Brand New Member will appear in and be active in when their Brivo Card is entered in Add A Member.

To change the Default in Brivo Group Maintenance, you will scroll to the Group you would like to make the Default and select the radio button that appears in that section.

You will then select the Update button on the right hand side. Any Brand New Member will appear in and be active in the Default when their Brivo Card is entered in Add A Member.
